Ysgol Llanarmon D.C. is a Community Primary School. It is a co-educational day school and pupils are taught in vertically grouped, mixed ability classes. There are two classes-the Infant class and the Junior class. Nursery, Reception, Years 1 and 2 are taught in the Infant class by a full time teacher and a part time nursery nurse. The Headteacher teaches the children in Years 3-6 in the Junior class. The school employs part time teachers to teach music, Humanities and Art to the pupils.

The school's aims are to ensure a happy, positive and safe environment for the children so they may enjoy an interesting, beneficial and varied education without oppression. We aim to establish full co-operation between the Staff, the Governors, parents and the local community for the benefit of each child. We believe that this is the only way to ensure that the children have a wide range of valuable experiences; be they educational or extra-curricular so that the children reach their full potential. We make every effort to create a caring environment and to make the children aware of themselves and others.
